Do I need to be athletic to come take a BLF class?
At BLF, everyone is an athlete—but no, you do not need prior experience to come take and enjoy one of our classes! Having trained with free weights before is helpful, but not required. All movements can be modified to your specific level, so everyone is able to be part of our fitness pride!
Is Blue Lion Fitness a CrossFit® gym?
Blue Lion Fitness is NOT a Crossfit gym. We are a class-based gym the focuses on full body strength and conditioning. Although we may incorporate similar movements to that of CrossFit® into our workouts, BLF programming is all unique and original.
Where should I park if there are no spots in the lot?
Since our lot is frequently full, additional parking can be found across S. Maple in the Kroger out lot, as well as street parking available on Winewood. Our neighbors are friendly, but please keep from parking in their lots.
How old do you have to be to #CHASETHELION?
Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian to participate in BLF classes. Athletes younger than 14 must be accompanied in class by a parent/guardian to partake.
Do I need anything for a BLF class?
Nope! Just yourself and some sneakers! We encourage you to bring your own water bottle and towel, due to safety concerns around COVID-19.
How do I sign up for a class in advance?
Please use the Mindbody app to view our schedule and sign up for a classes in advance. Classes are become available to reserve your spot 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
What if I sign up for class in advance and don’t show?
BLF has an 8 hour cancelation window should your plans change and you are not able to come to class. Cancelation within 8 hours of class or no showing will cost you your drop-in.
